Missouri has landed its top remaining target in Eastern Arizona J.C. defensive tackle Malik Young. The three-star prospect announced his commitment shortly after 6 o'clock on Twitter.
Young becomes the 25th pledge for the Tigers in the 2017 class and is a big-bodied defender with college level experience that can make an immediate impact once he steps on campus.
Young joins Rashad Brandon, Kobie Whiteside, and fellow Eastern Arizona J.C. teammate Walter Palmore at DT, along with Chris Turner and Nate Anderson along the defensive line.
The 6-foot-3, 285-pound prospect chose the Tigers over the likes of Arizona State, Arkansas, and Florida.
PowerMizzou.com will attempt to reach Young for confirmation and reaction to his signing.
