Season Review: Damarea Crockett ran for 1,062 yards in just 11 games and scored ten touchdowns. Both are freshman records at Mizzou. He also averaged more yards per carry than any back in Tiger history who had at least 150 carries (Crockett had 153). His final-game suspension notwithstanding, Crockett had a breakout year as a true freshman and looks to be an SEC star for seasons to come.

Ish Witter was a solid No. 2 back as the season went along, rushing for 750 yards and six touchdowns of his own. Natereace Strong finally got some action in the final two games of the season, getting 25 of his 32 carries against Tennessee and Arkansas. Strong flashed some potential and speed, giving Missouri a solid three-pronged attack going into next season.

Graduate transfer Alex Ross had 18 carries for 67 yards in the opener against West Virginia. He had six carries for four yards the rest of the year.
