jerryray asks: Do you think Odom was turned down on some OC offers? I was reading things on twitter about Sophie Cunningham being a dirty player...what about her game is dirty? I haven't watched a lot of the team so I don't really know. She just doesn't come across like that in interviews.

GD: On the OC, logic says some guys turned it down. It's also likely that Odom interviewed some guys that he decided not to offer the job. But I have a hard time believing that the first month was a smokescreen to go interview Derek Dooley after the NFL season ended and have him accept the job the same day. That wouldn't pass the smell test. I don't think anyone from Mizzou will ever admit guys turned it down, but logic tells you it happened.

As far as Cunningham, I'm not going to pretend that I watch the women's team religiously. She plays very aggressively and gets under the skin of some other teams. I think she's someone you love if she's on your team and don't like much if she's on the other team.

mexicojoe asks: Any word on baseball field makeover?

GD: Nothing new since I talked to Sterk in December. They'd like to have it done for the start of the season. I don't know if they will.

MUValjean asks: 1) With the realignment and new people on board for Odom, what do you see as the strengths and weaknesses of this staff? What benefits will we derive from the personnel and their positioning, and what could cause us headaches? 2) With regard to the PG position, do you get the feeling that Martin has settled on Phillips and Geist rotating through the position, or is he willing to experiment with others/ less conventional players filling the role? And if we stick with Geist and Phillips, is there a way to get our inside game working or are we "stuck" with the perimeter game for the rest of the year? (acknowledging our perimeter game is pretty darn good)
