Following Friday's Night at the Zou camp, Alabama safety Cameron Taylor said he planned to take a few visits and had no timetable for a decision. After spending all day Saturday in Columbia, Taylor changed his mind.
Taylor has been high on Missouri for quite some time. He made the weekend trip with his mother, his first time on campus. He spent most of Friday night's camp attached at the hip to Tiger safeties coach Ryan Walters.
"That's my guy," Taylor said after camp.
Taylor is rated as an athlete by Rivals.com and the No. 27 prospect in the state of Alabama. But he is slated for the defensive backfield all the way at Mizzou.
"If I could pick one word, physical," Taylor answered when asked to describe his game.
Taylor chose the Tigers from a list of 16 reported offers, including Mississippi State and Michigan. He is the Tigers' eighth known 2018 commitment and the second from the state of Alabama, joining Montgomery quarterback James Foster. Missouri has added three pledges in the last three days.
PowerMizzou.com will follow up for more on his decision shortly.
