Landing the commitment of the Tigers top QB target in the 2018 class this early will give Mizzou a great opportunity to build a class around James Foster. The No. 12 ranked dual-threat quarterback is already working on recruiting offensive targets like Kamryn Babb and Jalen Knox.

The early commitment also allows the Mizzou coaches to shift their focus away from quarterback and on to the other prospects at different positions. With the competition level Mizzou faces for the ten in-state targets Missouri coaches can use all the breaks they can get.

The Tigers will likely be looking to add eight to ten more offensive players in this class, so Foster has plenty of work ahead of him.
