After each Tiger game, we take a look at the highs and lows. Here's the report from Thursday's 93-54 loss to Florida where there were no highs.
TURNING POINT: KeVaughn Allen made a layup for the Gators at the 19:36 mark of the first half to give Florida a 2-0 lead. It was only 24 seconds in, but Mizzou would never be that close again.
IT WAS OVER WHEN: It was 12-2 Florida before the first media timeout. So, around then.
CAUSE FOR OPTIMISM: Nope. Not today.
CAUSE FOR CONCERN: It's an awfully dangerous thing to throw the Q word around, especially when you were watching on TV and not at the game. So I won't do that. But I absolutely will say that there were many times that the effort looked as if it were at a level somewhere significantly below maximum.
STOCK UP: TV ratings for families of the walk-ons. Adam Wolf got seven minutes. Trevor Glassman and Brett Rau got on the floor (although I think the TV broadcast referred to one of them as Jimmy Barton). So there's that.
STOCK DOWN: Again, how do you go down from rock bottom? That's where Missouri lives these days.
UP NEXT: Missouri (5-16, 0-9 SEC) plays at home against Arkansas (17-5, 6-3) at 5:00 on Saturday at Mizzou Arena. Arkansas beat Alabama 87-68 on Wednesday night. The Razorbacks blitzed Missouri 92-73 in Fayetteville on January 14th.
