A Missouri spokesperson confirmed that fourth-string quarterback Trent Hosick intends to transfer. No other details were known beyond that.

Hosick signed with the Tigers in the 2013 recruiting class out of Kansas City's Staley High School, where he led the Falcons to a state championship in 2011. He committed to Missouri before the spring game in April 2012, along with friend and fellow recruit, Nick Ramirez.
Ramirez did not sign with Missouri.
Hosick enrolled early in Columbia in January 2013, but sat out Missouri's 12-2 season during a redshirt year. He began the spring of 2014 fourth on Missouri's depth chart, and didn't appear to move up.
In three spring scrimmages that were open to the media, Hosick completed 16-of-31 passes for 206 yards and one touchdown. A dual-threat quarterback, he also ran eight times for 46 yards.
In Saturday's spring game, Hosick threw a 93-yard touchdown pass to walk-on receiver Eric Laurent. However, in those scrimmage settings, Hosick never took a snap with the second-string offense, working mainly with the third and fourth-string.
Should Hosick transfer to an FBS college, he would have three years to play after sitting out a year.
