Mizzou strikes for another four-star Florida receiver

Missouri has landed its second four-star Florida wide receiver in as many days. IMG standout Donovan Olugbode announced his commitment to the Tigers just moments ago. He picked Mizzou over Florida, USC and Washington. He joins Cocoa (FL) four-star Jayvan Boggs, who committed to Mizzou on Thursday.

Olugbode is ranked as the nation's No. 56 overall prospect. He is No. 11 overall in Florida and the No. 9 wide receiver in America. He comes the highest-rated member of Mizzou's 2025 class and the third Rivals100 prospect to commit to the Tigers.

Olugbode initially debuted in the Rivals250 at No. 64 last June. He has been among the nation's top 70 prospects ever since. His visit to Mizzou came on the weekend of June 21, along with Boggs and quarterback commitment Matt Zollers.

"The OC (Kirby Moore) has a great mind in the game," Olugbode told Rivals.com after the trip. "Receivers coach (Jacob Peeler) is a good guy as well, knows ball. Head coach (Eliah Drinkwitz) is a cool dude, genuine dude. I liked it up there a lot."

Olugbode is the 14th player to commit to Mizzou for the 2025 class. He is also the seventh four-star. Just last week, he reeled in wide receiver MVP honors at the Rivals.com Five-Star event in Jacksonville.

Rivals.com national director of recruiting Adam Gorney: "Olugbode showed off phenomenal hands and caught every pass thrown his way. There have been some questions about speed with the Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star but those were answered as well as he’s not the fastest kid at the position but he’s plenty fast. His hands are so reliable that it would have been a shock if he dropped one. He didn’t."

PowerMizzou.com will have more coverage of Olugbode's commitment and what it means coming soon.
