Missouri's 2017 recruiting class got a boost on Wednesday afternoon when four-star defensive back Terry Petry flipped his commitment from Houston to Missouri.

Petry, the No. 36 player in the state of Texas according to Rivals.com, had been committed to Houston for months. But he took an official visit to Mizzou on September 13th and told PowerMizzou.com after that trip that Missouri was his leader. Petry has been silent since then, but tweeted out his commitment shortly after noon on Wednesday.

Petry requested that no interviews be done about his decision. PowerMizzou.com hopes to get more on the commitment soon. The Tigers' commitment list for 2017 now stands at 14 with the first major official visit weekend of the year set to begin in about 48 hours.
