The good news keeps coming for Mizzou basketball fans. On Saturday afternoon, Kevin Knox--the No. 9 prospect in America--tweeted that he would take his final official visit to Missouri next weekend.

Word of a possible visit from Knox began to emerge last week, following the commitment of Michael Porter Jr. Porter began urging Knox to consider playing together in college and continued his recruiting efforts during the McDonald's All-American Game festivities in Chicago this week.

Knox has used four official visits during the recruiting process. He has taken trips to Duke, North Carolina, Florida State and Kentucky. The Tigers are a surprise late entrant in the chase for the elite forward. Getting a visit is a major step for Cuonzo Martin in his first season, but now the attention turns to trying to land Knox.

He will join former Washington commitment Blake Harris as next weekend's official visitors. The Tigers will likely work to bring more talent in over the weekend as well. Knox and Porter are both playing at the Nike Hoops Summit in Portland on Friday. It is possible both could travel to Columbia together for the weekend. Porter Jr. has an official visit available if he chose to take one.

Martin currently has just one open scholarship with which to work. More will be known about the future of current signee C.J. Roberts on Monday afternoon and the Tigers' coach has said he is recruiting as if he has six scholarships available.

Martin is also expected to finalize and announce his coaching staff early next week, so it will be all hands on deck by the time the weekend visitors are.
