ThadCastle7 asks: For arguments sake, assume we make the tournament and MPJ does not end up coming back for whatever reason. What do you think this team, as is, ceiling is in the tournament? I know it’s a crap shoot but I could realistically see them making a sweet sixteen if they play like they can. I just don’t see them being able to sustain it to make it any farther than that.
GD: I agree with you. The ceiling would be about the Sweet 16. I don't think they'd be one of the sixteen best teams in the country, but if they get the right matchups and they shoot it well, I could see them winning a couple games and making it out of the first weekend. They've shown they can play with anyone. I just don't think they've shown they can do it consistently enough to believe they could sustain it for three or four games. If he comes back, though....
CamKCMIZ asks: Are the basketball team practices open to the media? More specifically, do you know who is/isn't practicing on any given day? Most specifically, will you know immediately when MPJ starts practicing? Because until he practices with the team, there's zero chance of him coming back, right?
