Every week, PowerMizzou.com publisher Gabe DeArmond answers questions from Tiger fans in the mailbag. This format allows for a more expansive answer than a message board post. Keep your eye out each week to submit your question for the mailbag or send them to powermizzou@gmail.com. On to this week's inquiries.

camchip10 asks: What is your go to pregame bev?

GD: Water or coffee. I have to work during the games. Even if I go to games as a fan I generally try not to have more than a couple drinks. First of all, they cost a million dollars. Second, I'm trying to watch and remember the game, not get lit up and have to piss 14 times.

MIZ25! asks: If you were in charge of the basketball schedule what day would you have the Mu/ku game?Best guess at starting 5 this year?

GD: I don't have any idea what day I'd play it. College basketball plays games every day of the week so it's not like football where certain time slots really matter.

As you guys know, way too many people focus on the starting five. I prefer to think of it as the five guys who are going to play the most minutes. I don't really care who the five guys that start the game are. I'd bet on Tony Perkins, Tamar Bates, Jacob Crews, Mark Mitchell and Josh Gray with Marques Warrick and Caleb Grill right there in terms of minutes. Two of those guys obviously aren't starting, but those will be the seven core guys who I'm pretty sure are getting consistent minutes right off the bat and throughout the season.

KCTiger05 asks: Is it likely in your view that we (fans) are setting unrealistic expectations for this team? Last year was special in part because a lot things broke our way (I can think of 2-3 victories we stole). It seems to me that we can have a very good team, be competitive in every game, and still lose 3-4 of em. More important to me than next years record is our long-term trajectory, which seems upward.
