Missouri has added to its defensive line for the second time this month. This time, the Tigers reached into Alabama to land three-star defensive end Jaylen Brown.
Brown visited Missouri the last weekend in July and picked up an offer after working out at a camp for the Tiger coaches. It didn't take him long to decide where he wanted to play his college ball.
"They gave me a tour of everything," Brown told PowerMizzou.com after the July visit. "I'd say the facilities and the coaches were all great. Coach (Kevin) Peoples believes in me. He likes my explosiveness and change of direction."
Brown checks in at 6-foot-6, 230 pounds. He claims a dozen offers with Houston and Maryland joining Mizzou as Power Five programs who have extended one. South Carolina and Michigan State had also been in contact with him recently.
Brown is Missouri's 13th commitment in the 2024 class and joins Williams Nwaneri and Justin Bodford as defensive line commits in the class.
PowerMizzou.com will be in touch with Brown to learn more about his decision.
