Why Nick Honor chose Mizzou

On March 22, Nick Honor entered the transfer portal, choosing to leave Clemson after three years. After a long initial list of schools that had been in contact, Honor narrowed his choices to three: Minnesota, SMU and Missouri.

He had planned visits to all three of his finalists. But after taking a trip to Columbia on Sunday and Monday, Honor decided he didn't need to take the visits to Minneapolis or Dallas.
