Season Review: Ryan Walters' kingdom for a safety who can tackle. The Tigers missed a ton of tackles this season and nowhere was the issue more evident than at the safety position.
Anthony Sherrils and Thomas Wilson started the season in the starting lineup. Sherrils lost playing time first and Wilson followed as well. Cam Hilton entered the starting lineup, played well for a while and then dropped off a bit. By the end of the year, Sherrils was back starting alongside Ronnell Perkins, who may have been Missouri's best safety by that point.
Tavon Ross and Greg Taylor are on the roster, but neither saw much playing time on defense this season.
