We're less than two weeks away from SEC Media Days in Dallas. With the offseason slowly but surely winding down, there’s still enough time to talk about the acquisitions and departures Missouri's 2024 (and 2025) conference opponents have made.

We've already gone through the roster moves of conference opponents. For this last installment, we will look at the roster moves of the only non-conference Power Four team Mizzou will play this season, Boston College.

The two teams will match up in Week 3 on Sept. 14.

Last season's record: 7-6

Key departures: DB Elijah Jones, G Christian Mahogany, WR Joseph Griffin, DB CJ Clinkscales, DE Shitta Sillah

Key additions: DB Ryan Turner, RB Treshaun Ward, DB Cameron Martinez, WR Jayden McGowan

Key departures

When Boston College takes the field this season, it'll be doing it with a new head coach and without a handful of key pieces that helped them go 7-6 and win the 2023 Fenway Bowl against SMU.

Bill O'Brien replaces Jeff Hafley as the head coach after the latter left for the defensive coordinator job with the Green Bay Packers. Joining Hafley in the NFL are Jones, who was drafted in the third round by the Arizona Cardinals, and Mahogany, who was drafted in the sixth round by the Detroit Lions.

The Eagles also lost Griffin, a former four-star receiver and the team's second-leading receiver who recorded 25 receptions for 345 yards and a touchdown in 12 games last season. The 264th overall transfer in the Rivals transfer rankings decided to join Wisconsin this offseason.

Clinkscales, the 451st overall transfer, transferred to Charlotte after he had 14 tackles and an interception in nine games last year.

Sillah transferred to Purdue as the 751st overall transfer after recording 14 tackles, three tackles for loss and a pair of sacks in eight games.

Key additions

Turner comes over from Ohio State after recording just two tackles in two games for the Buckeyes last season. However, the 183rd overall transfer is the highest incoming transfer addition the Eagles made this offseason. Likely because he was a four-star prospect in the class of 2022.

Ward, the 311th overall transfer, was Kansas State's second-leading rusher with 643 yards and five touchdowns on 124 carries (5.2 yards per carry) in 11 games a year ago.

Martinez joins Turner in being a former Buckeye defensive back headed to Boston College. He also has a similar story to Turner with Martinez being a former four-star recruit who recorded two tackles in three games in 2023.

McGowan was Vanderbilt's third-leading receiver with 36 receptions for 383 yards in 12 games last season. The former Commodore is the 505th overall transfer.
