Omaha (Neb.) Central offensive lineman Caleb Pyfrom is the newest member of Missouri's 2024 recruiting class, announcing his pledge on Monday after a weekend official with the Tigers.

The three-star also visited Missouri back in October for the LSU game. At the time, he was committed to Illinois. He backed off his pledge to the Illini the day after his October trip to CoMo.

Pyfrom then returned to Missouri for their 36-7 win over Tennessee on November 11th.

Missouri's offensive line play under Brandon Jones was a big sticking point with Pyfrom and his decision to join the Tigers' class.

"Their offensive line play has drastically improved and they have been able to run all over the SEC," Pyfrom recently told PowerMizzou.com. "Also, they have been nominated to the Joe Moore semifinals as one of the best units in the nation which is really impressive."

The Omaha, Nebraska native originally committed to Illinois back on June 29th after taking June officials with the Illini, Minnesota, and Nebraska.

He also held notable offers from Penn State, Kansas, Kansas State, Iowa, Iowa State, and Purdue.

Pyfrom originally picked up an offer from Missouri back in October of 2022 from former offensive line coach Marcus Johnson, who is now at Purdue.

However, that interest continued under current offensive line coach Brandon Jones.

With Pyfrom in the fold, he becomes the 18th overall pledge for Mizzou in the 2024 recruiting class and the fourth offensive lineman, joining in-state products Ryan Jostes and Talan Chandler along with JUCO pledge Jayven Richardson.
