Last week, PowerMizzou.com took a look at every position on the Missouri offense.  This week, we turned our attention to defense.  Today, we finish up with the special teams.

Season Review: Corey Fatony was really good and the punting is not a problem. Johnathon Johnson seems settled as Missouri's punt return man. He needs to catch the ball a bit better, but he's electric once he secures it.

The kickoff returns were nothing special as Alex Ross never really showed the promise there he did at Oklahoma.

And then there's the kickers. Tucker McCann seems to be pretty good as a kickoff specialist. But the actual placekicks? Ouch. McCann was 5-11 on field goals as a freshman, including a couple of chip shots. The Tigers missed six extra points this season. Turner Adams and Ben Tesson got brief looks at kicker, but Adams missed a short field goal and Tesson an extra point. Bottom line, Missouri didn't have a kicker on the roster it could count on.
