The Tigers hosted Lindenwood on Saturday, sweeping the Lions 4-0.

Then they took on Vanderbilt and dropped a 7-0 match to the No. 31 Commodores.
Artimedi and Mary Crumfield lost to Sonya Macavei and Bridget Stammel 6-2, while Bashir and Octa lost 6-2 to Valeria Ray and Trinetra Vijayakumar to give Vanderbilt the doubles point.

“Overall, today we could have done a much better job,” Missouri coach Bianca Turati said. “We did not show up with the competitive spirit we needed. We failed a s a team to really test Vanderbilt and put them under pressure. We had too slow of a start in singles and did not bounce back after doubles at all and that set the tone for the whole match. Credit to Lailaa and Korina, they played good matches at No. 2 and No. 5 singles.”
Missouri (8-2, 0-1 SEC) will return to the court when it hosts No. 22 Alabama on Friday starting at 11 a.m. The Tigers will then face Ole Miss at noon on Sunday.
Moving on.
